The Spirit Mountains is a mountain range in the south of the Fells that includes the Gray Wolf Line Mountains, some of them being Gray Lady and Hanalea. Wizards are forbidden to stray into this area by the Naeming for at least a thousand years already, except for the council house they have on the Gray Lady. It is connected to Fellsmarch by the Spirit Trail. The range is said to be the place where the spirits of the dead queens dwelled.
True flatlanders believe the Spirit Mountains are haunted by demons, witches, and dragons, thinking that even the ground was poisonous to the invaders.
