He works for Gavan Bayar and is a minor antagonist during the first half of the Seven Realms series. He is killed by Raisa ana'Marianna in The Gray Wolf Throne. Appearance He has beefy hands and a broken nose. He has stringy brown hair, tobacco-spit eyes, and thin cruel lips. He has a discolored stubble, and one side of his face is puckered and scarred from a serious burn. His belly cascades over his sword belt but he is all muscle underneath. He smells of general poor hygiene and yellow rotten teeth. He has a wolfish grin and intermittent teeth stained with kafta nut. He has piggy eyes and foul breath. His face is sallow and unhealthy-looking. He is blind in one eye, with the skin red, shiny, and puckered with scar tissue. Personality He claims to be buyable, but will double-cross people in a heartbeat if he needs a scapegoat. He is a man of enterprise Involvement He is stationed in Southbridge, and wrings them dry. He's been on the dawb for years, and has high-up connections, so it seemed likely he would never be sacked. The Demon King He is a Sergeant of the Queen's Guard stationed in Southbridge. Edon Byrne tried to get him dismissed twice, but failed as he had powerful friends. He beats up Han, until he is stopped by Amon, and Han escapes as they try to bring him to the guardhouse. He was torturing Raggers in the dungeon of the Southbridge Guardhouse, and was permanently scarred when Raisa smashed a burning torch into his face during her rescue attempt, he was then beaten badly by the gang members. The Grey Wolf Throne He is now a Lieutenant, stationed at the West Wall. It was technically a promotion, as he was put in charge of a keep and a hundred other exiles, members of the regular army, and his own squadron of bluejackets. He is one of the assassins that ambush Raisa and Edon Byrne on their way back from Oden's Ford. He slashed Raisa's horse Switcher. He is stabbed by Raisa and killed. Relationships Gavan Bayar He was lucky enough to survive the High Wizard's disappointment. And he recognized his new assignment as a punishment for failure to give Lord Bayar what he wanted. Raisa ana'Marianna Hanson Alister Amon Byrne Amon was willing to challenge him, despite his being out-ranked, when witnessing him beat an innocent civilian.
