Fiona Bayar is the twin sister of Micah Bayar. She takes an interest in Han during their time in Oden's Ford, and offers him a proposal to work together, which Han promptly declines. However, she does not back down and attempts several more times to convince him to support her cause, even including marriage. She is jealous of Micah, who her father wishes to marry into the Gray Wolf Line, and secretly desires the throne for herself. She and Micah do not always agree on everything as she is more isolated than her brother whose shoulders their father's wishes mostly rides on.

Fiona is killed by Night Bird, formerly known as Digging Bird, with an arrow when she and her cousin, Fire Dancer, try to rescue Han from the tunnels below the Grey Lady where the armoury is located.
Appearance
Fiona has pale, porcelain blue eyes and platinum hair tied into a long braid that extends to her waist, accentuated by a streak of red. She has an angular face, and her eyebrows and eyelashes are the color of cottonwood fluff. Later, she takes off her braid and allows her hair to billow past her shoulders in long waves. She looks the opposite of her brother.
